Best Friend Rodent Rescue:
We are now an official 501 (C)(3) home based all volunteer Non-Profit Rodent Rescue located in the Silver Lake/Everett, WA area. Best Friend Rodent Rescue was founded when an extreme need for a small animal/pet rat rescue was noticed. Our Board of Directors includes an amazing group of ladies who all know that the pet rat gets a bad rap and they have a huge desire to turn that around. Rats have taken over our hearts and our home. We have been rescuing rats and other rodents in need and finding them their new forever homes since May of 2010. Quite simply put, we love rats and have found that with the growing number of people discovering the joys of pet rat ownership, there is also a growing number of domesticated rats finding themselves homeless and in need of new forever homes. We would like to help the world see what truly terrific pets and friends rats make. If you already know what wonderful friends pet rats make, we are here for you too! We do also on occasion take in and have available for adoption other small animals such as mice, hamsters, guinea pigs and rabbits, etc.

Hey, this is great! BFRR is where we adopted our Achilles and Maximus from, hooray! I am so glad to see BFRR as the Rescue of the Month! :hug4:
