Rats as well as dogs, cats, rabbits, mice, monkeys, and many other animals are tortured in the name of research when there are now many humane alternatives that do not use animals.

Thank you for sharing this. Couldn't recall if I'd signed this one or not; turned out I hadn't yet. Fixed that.

With all the technology and various scientific advancements, you'd think we'd have figured out other reliable testing methods by now.

Actually, thanks to technological advances, there are much better methods that do not use animals ...... but laws need to be changed
