Hi, everyone.

I have a post on Craigslist I will link here: http://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/for/5516164315.html

I rescued these guys from a hoarding situation not knowing that I was going to be forced to move a few months later. I am broken that I have to give them up, but I feel it is for the best because I am too busy to take care of them.

They are four males around one year of age, un-neutered. They are bonded so I would like to keep them together or at least adopt them out in pairs. They have been handled a bit and do not mind being pet, but are not yet OK with being picked up. They need more handling, but they do not bite, so a home with older children (10+) would be OK as long as they are not rough when handling them. I would prefer the new owner to have some experience in owning rats, but I will settle for a first-time owner.

Midget: http://i.imgur.com/Dczc65N.jpg

Steven is tan in color, Mischief is brown, Pirate is black and white with one eye, and Midget is black and white with a shorter tail than other rats.

They will come with two Lixit water bottles, two large Kaytee wooden houses, two hanging metal food bowls, a large rat wheel, two large roaming balls, the rest of their food, and a small travel cage.

The cage that they come with is not meant to be a permanent cage. It is very small and it is used only for transporting. You must have a cage at your home ready for them to be transferred to at the time of the adoption.

They are currently being fed Harlan Teklad Laboratory Diet Vegetarian Formula 2014. It can be bought on Amazon, but I understand if you have to change their food to something easily accessible and/or cheaper.

I am only adopting them out as pets. They will not be feeder rats. It will be $20 for all four of them and the accessories that come with them. If you choose to only adopt two, I will split the items that come with them, and the first adoption will receive the travel cage and wheel.
