Is this injury serious?

I'm pretty new to rats so i'm really not sure if this is something that needs to be checked out by a vet. I'm not super sure how he got it but I think it might be from playing with my other rat or getting his tail caught in something. I haven't grabbed him by the tail ever so I don't think its a degloving or something like that... Please help me!!!! https://m.imgur.com/a/jYAwH

Aww, poor little one but this is quite common. I would probably flush it with warm water and just keep an eye on it.

Oh yeah. I've had that happen more than once. Like @jorats said, just keep it clean and it should heal fine. If you suspect infection you can take a trip to the vet, but that's rare.
