Good rat litter?

I used to buy this litter/bedding for their litter boxes, but now I use it for their bottom cage layer of bedding. I thought if I used the same for their litter they’d think ‘okay let’s poop everywhere it’s basically a giant litter box’ hehe. I then bought sanicat cat litter. It’s like fine dust powder, and it’s aloe Vera scented (which I thought was bad but I haven’t noticed any sneezing/coughing etc or changes in their behaviour). I’m not sure if this is good because it’s dust so I’m going to change again. Any ideas? I’m in the UK so there is many types of cat litter. I’ve saw clumped litter but read not to buy it.

I would suggest a scent-free paper based kitty litter.
