My sister Joanne runs the Rat Shack group on Facebook. She asked me to create a prize for the group’s photo contest. The theme is Rats in the Fall.
I was more than happy to oblige. I’ve come up with a sweet combo using my favourite print and of course my favourite colour green for the solid fleece. Instead of just one prize, why not do it a matching set. So here is the prize, a Cozygloo and Tent.

Yes a dog bed. And I’m quite proud.
My good friend in Ottawa asked me to make his two small dogs a bed. He didn’t want anything fancy, just basically a blanket on the floor. I padded it up and quilted the fleece squares to give it that nifty look. I think it turned out great. It’s all fleece with a bit of batting inside to give it that soft pillow feel. Due to it being all fleece, it will wash quite easily and dry super fast too. These beds are 32″ x 24″. Big enough for even a medium size dog.
I know his pups are going to love it. Now I have my sister begging me to make her new puppy one.

My sister’s rat Gera has hurt his foot. Jo tells me that she’s been using the Cozygloo to keep him comfy and feeling secure on out time. Gera can’t move much but he likes to be out as well. The Cozygloo allows for enough room to move around and groom without feeling constricted with a hurt leg, he needs space. He’s quite content in his Cozygloo. It makes the perfect hospital bed.

Another cute little warmer. My sister prefers this one to the bigger one, I guess her rats like to be up close and cozy. Also the minis seem to sit up better and hold it’s shape too.
